What is the difference between this lens and the h-fs14140?
Answer: The h-fs14140 lens has a wider range but the 35-100mm lets more light in, it's a constant f2.8 where as the 14-140, depending on the version you have, is a f4.0-5.8 or 3.5-5.6. So when you zoom in the amount of light let in is less. -

Is this lens as sharp in 4K Video filming from a distance vs using a prime 25mm lens from closer?
Answer: The footage has looked good with this lens but we have not shot with a prime lens to make that comparison. -

Answer: It is a good choice for a zoom lens. The only other zooms that are in this class olympus 40-150mm f2.8 to me its too big & the olympus 12-100mm f4 all the other zooms are f3.5-6 not that great indoor.
