What is the wattage for this?
Answer: Hello, CTW 300, w50 volt, 10 amp. Those are the figures on the Judge plug. Great appliance, very pleased with it. -

Are the handles removable for storage and washing?
Answer: No. I think they fold in slightly. I keep mine in the original box so it is on its side. Not too big. -

Does the smell and flavour or some food linger on it if it cannot be washed?
Answer: Sorry have never cooked fish on it. I wash it over with warm soapy water. Dry it with kitchen roll & before using it wipe over with oil on kitchen roll. Never known transfer of food tast -

What size is the grill plate?
Answer: Hi it’s a large grill plate approx 50cm x 35cm 20’’x14’’ inch. My Dad uses it to make pancakes soda bread etc and is pleased with the grill. -

Does the plate switch off mid cooking due to overheating?
Answer: There is a thermostat with a red light so if the plate is already overheating it will automatically switch off and then whenever the temperature is controlled the red light will turn on again. It is a very good table grill and I recommend it. I hope this helps. -

Answer: No - but plate non stick & sooo easy cleaned with damp kitchen roll etc - we use ours for everything from grilled prawns , sausages , bacon , beef burgers & steaks -Ribeye , sirloin & even T Bone - great wee gri -

Answer: To be perfectly honest, I would go with a good quality gas BBQ, this will flatten your leisure battery in a few minutes, using a high powered inverter on a device like this is pointless when there are better alternatives. -
