Is this soil checked for foreign objects - like screws, nails or glass? Using for chickens & with other makes I've found things that would harm them.
Answer: I use mine for my tortoise and I go through every bag to make sure there's nothing else in it, never found anything. This is the only one I would buy. -

This compost it's good for indoor plants? Contains coco pear?
Answer: This is top soil, not compost. -

Can I use this to grow tomatoes?
Answer: Thank you for your enquiry, we would advise to use a Multi Purpose Compost with Added John Innes for growing tomatoes. -

Answer: I don't think so. It's Sterile, I use it for my Tortoise home. -

Does this soil contain perlite?
Answer: Westland Top Soil is a specially selected rich clay loam soil with a high humus content which retains nutrients and moisture. It does not contain perlite. -

Answer: It can be used for conditioning soil, creating new beds and borders, preparing lawns and making compost mixes. You can also use Gro-Sure Lawn Seeding soil. -

Would this be good for over-seeding existing lawn?
Answer: Thank you for your enquiry, we would not recommend using the Top Soil as a top dressing for lawns, we would recommend using Westland Lawn & Turf Dressing.
