Answer: For all this teapot's great qualities, the lid and infuser are very fragile. When I broke my lid, I searched for a replacement (unavailable from the original supplier) but did not find anything that I was confident would fit or wasn't more expensive than the original, so I just ordered another teapot. Crazy I know ... Note the exact same teapot was sold by a different supplier, so you may need to search a bit rather than just re-order. -

Answer: I think it's difficult to find replacements. I believe occasionally they do a run of replacements and you have to be quick to get one. We just bought another complete teapot and the infuser (one size fits all) can be used in both our pots (which are different sizes). I don't remember that the replacement was expensive. -
