  • Question: What is the size of the tape?

    Answer: It is 1/2-by-3/4-Inch by 10 feet in size
  • Question: What material is used for the tape?

    Answer: High density closed cell PVC foam is used for the tape
  • Question: Is it easy to install?

    Answer: Yes, it is easy to install and long-lasting
  • Question: Is this flammable? I want to seal a gap in the floor that is touching my radiator.

    Answer: I am not 100% positive, but I would tend to think it is not. I would contact the manufacturer to confirm.
  • Question: Can this be used to block sound? I live in an apartment and always wake up hearing my roommate on the days she is up earlier than me.

    Answer: I live down the street from a train station and still hear the train.
  • Question: Will this keep the cold out if I put it at my front door?

    Answer: Yes, it will keep out the cold and it is easy to use. I put it on a window that I installed a portable air conditioner in. On my front door, I actually used Duck Brand weather stripping. I put that in at the beginning of winter 2016, and it is still doing its job. But either one would work, in my opinion.
  • Question: Is this gear oil resistant? I was thinking about using it as a gasket on a larger gearbox.

    Answer: It is foam tape, so I would think it is too porous to be an effective gasket.
  • Question: Is this closed cell foam or open cell foam?

    Answer: I do not know. Contact the seller, it's your best bet.
  • Question: Will it stick to itself for double thickness?

    Answer: No, I tried that and honestly it does not work. Today, I taped newspaper onto the foam tape to keep the air and flies from coming in my window and the newspaper did a better job than the foam tape.
