The proceeds from this book will be used to offer more services to all the people that society has thrown away. We cannot incarcerate our way out of this issue as we watch it get worse. Many veterans come back from active duty just to fight the war on drugs. It is the war after the war. No soldier shall be left behind!The fastest way to stop judging others is to stop comparing ourselves to others. We will look at the similarities of our problems and not the differences. Every story is unique in its own way, but there are more similarities than you might realize. The war is the fear and distrust from the policies put on us that makes getting help hard. We will look at the root of the distrust as more unfolds. The current system keeps us down by our criminal record, lack of housing history to get housing, loss of driving privileges, long prison sentences, and felonies that makes employment hard to achieve. That is like the part of the iceberg that sank the Titanic. When the Titanic sank, did it matter what seat you had on the ship? In the same way, addiction does not care who you are or what your plans for the future were. It will trick you into thinking that if you choose a different seat, next time the ship isn’t going to sink. Some people admit that they cannot use meth, so they drink. We can also be addicted to people when we have codependency issues.If you have addiction issues, know someone who has, or if you are addicted to someone who has addiction then this book is for you!
