The T3 SinglePass StyleMax Professional 1 Ceramic Flat Iron is a replacement for the previous model with improved features. It has nine heat settings, longer ceramic plates and custom heat automation. However, some customers found the buttons and functions to be less intuitive than the previous model, but a good job is done once they are used to it. One customer was disappointed that the product did not turn on at all. However, most customers were satisfied with the purchase and found it to be the best straightener they have ever had. It heats up nicely, does not pull or break hair, aesthetically pleasing, and a reasonable price. The controls based on hair type seem like a marketing gimmick, but the overall product is great.
