Deft 13 Oz Clear Wood Finish Semi-Gloss is an excellent all-purpose finish that is easy to apply and yields great results. It can be easily and quickly sprayed onto the wood surface and dries very fast, allowing for multiple coats to be applied in just a few minutes. This product is especially effective for small projects. The finish is easy to buff to a smooth shine using a ball of brown Kraft paper or a paper grocery bag. It works well over oil stains, but make sure to wait at least 24 hours after staining before applying the lacquer. The product can be sprayed even in cold temperatures, but the sprayed product should be immediately moved into a warmer 60-degree-plus temperature following spraying to avoid issues. It is recommended to spray the product in the sun to absorb the ultraviolet heat and radiation. While Deft is an excellent product, some customers had issues with defective nozzles after purchasing the product from Amazon. It is recommended to test every can when received.
