How loud does it get?
Answer: 94db @ 1ft. DemerBox is loud enough for many situations, but not all. For instance it's loud enough for a backyard birthday party with a dozen people, but not loud enough for a crowd of 100. Most people who buy are satisfied with the volume it puts out. Try one out, and if you find it's not loud enough, send it back within 30 days for a full refund. -

Why does it even have a plug thing in the first place?
Answer: For better sounding bass you would remove the plug and create a port. When you need it water proof you leave it in and still sounds good. -

What's the waterproof rating?
Answer: It has a removable plug that will make it 100% waterproof when installed. -

If I use it in my canoe and it gets splashed with saltwater will it have issues?
Answer: We take ours in a small boat fishing and it gets salt water splashed. Just make sure you use the supplied plug for the hole that is for the base sound. -

I’m a fitter/welder and i work in a very noisy shop, will this thing be loud enough?
Answer: I would think so!! It rocks. I play it in my house and can't hear my phone ring. I can't believe the volume it gives out. Make sure to take the 'plug' out of the front and put it on the inside when playing away from water (that helps the sound quality). It's a great box. I got it as a gift a week ago and I have played it every single day since. We played it on the lake for three days (probably a total of 4 hours per day) and it still hasn't needed another charge. -
