The macerating/pump is connected to the spigot of a horizontal outlet toilet, the toilet tank is connected to the water supply, the macerating/pump is connected to the small diameter discharge pipe work, and lastly, the macerating/pump is connected to the electrical supply. You can also connect the discharge pipes from the sink, shower, and/or bath for added convenience. The SaniPLUS functions with a pressure chamber and a motor that drives the stainless steel macerator blades and pump. When the flush is activated, the water flowing into the SaniPLUS activates a microswitch in the pressure chamber, which starts the motor.

The macerator blades rotate at an impressive 3600 RPM, reducing water and organic waste matter to slurry. The reduced solids are then ejected through a grill into the container where they are picked up by the impeller pump. This powerful pump operates at 10 PSI, allowing for the effluent to be pumped upward to 12 feet and/or 150 feet horizontally.
