RACEceiver Scanners - an Essential Communication Tool for Racers RACEceiver scanners are a one-way radio receiver used for track to driver communications. Today, one-way radios are required at short tracks and sanctioning bodies across the country for immediate communication of track conditions, red and yellow flag conditions as well as lineup and restart information. They're an invaluable tool for the rookie racer to the seasoned vet. Speedway Motors offers a starter combo including the RACEceiver Rookie Earbud Set to get you ready for race time. Louder Audio and New Channel & Volume Lock Functions With louder audio for the noisiest envrionments and a volume and frequency locking feature, the RACEceiver Fusion+ works with the 450-470MHz band, the standard at tracks across the country and is Narrow Band FM compatible. Frequencies are pre-programmed, so you can select the channel/frequency combination required by your track. Also available is a programmable default channel where you can save the most commonly used frequency. The RACEceiver Fusion+ includes a new lock feature to prevent unwanted channel or volume changes and has improved reception to make sure you hear all the important communication. Includes RACEceiver Rookie Earbuds and Clip-on Holster to Get You On Track The RACEceiver Rookie Earbud set is a mid-level stereo earpiece using a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack that has terrific sound quality.The earpiece has rubber tips that fit into the ear to help reduce outside noise. It comes with three (3) sizes of replaceable rubber tips for a more custom fit. The cord is designed to fall down one side of the body depending on the side you are wearing your audio device. It also comes with an extension cord for versatility. For extreme noise environments or better sound isolation, we recommend the RACEceiver EP700 Semi-Pro Ear Buds. We also offer in-helmet speakers for those that prefer an in-helmet solution. Our RACEceiver Fusion+ kit comes with a holster clip that includes a secure mounting clip for attachment to your uniform or other location in the car. Our mounting box or pouch provide a durable in-car mount for your RACEceiver unit. RACEceivers are also great for fans wanting to get inside the action too! Includes AAA battery and full instructions to get you listening quickly!
