It is 16" deep and can support a weight capacity of up to 50lb or 23kg. The shelf comes with high-quality mounting hardware (screws and nuts) and can be used as an economical alternative to buying mounts for equipment that didn't come with them. Various customers have used this shelf for firewalls, laptops, desktops, and even large LED/LCD computer monitors. However, it's important to note that due to the shelf's width, a large monitor may not fit. The shelf is very sturdy, even with heavy items, and it does not sag. The thick sides allow it to retain integrity, and the ventilation can also be used to secure cables to prevent accidental disconnections. The shelf is compatible with all standard 19-inch racks, except for the Cisco Catalyst 2950, for which it's too narrow. The mounting holes are spaced 1.75 in or 44.4 mm apart.
