Also, replacing the wing nuts with an Allen head screw is suggested because raccoons can back them out and dump all the feed on the ground. Additionally, cutting the openings on the feed head may be needed for certain types of feed to flow out. Finally, painting the feeder is recommended to reduce the reflection of the sun.
