The shoes are waterproof and fit for industrial use with an electrical hazard safety rating, making them perfect for outdoor work as well. They also run wider than normal shoes which some customers enjoy, although some found it difficult to judge if they needed wide-width or normal-width shoes as they were labeled "industrial" rather than "steel-toe".
