The natural element that they add to the table is stunning. These plates are small and made of bamboo which makes them sturdy but not super thick. A few of the trays seem to have been lacking the correct glaze which makes them lose a star. However, don't expect the uniformity that ceramics provide as these small trays are like any other natural wood product, they will have imperfections. They should hold up fine as long as you use and care for them correctly. The only downside to these plates is that they are a bit expensive and that a few arrived damaged.
