The Anti-Seize Technology 45008 Zinc Anti-Seize Zinc Petrolatum Compound is a highly recommended product in the market for its efficient functioning. The paste comes in an 8 oz. can and is gray in color. It is an excellent product to use where dissimilar metals are joined and required for aluminum to steel joints. Customers have reported this product to be thick, but it does not affect the product's efficiency. It is perfect for preventing galvanic corrosion of magnesium threads and preventing electrolysis between fasteners of dissimilar metals. One buyer has been using it to reduce galvanic corrosion between aluminum and steel joints on his BMW automobile and plans to evaluate its long-term effectiveness. This compound is also reported to be great for aluminum to steel interface between brake and wheel. The 2 oz size is perfect, but some customers find the brush not useful and recommend using a separate acid brush. Buyers have recommended using the compound on spark plug threads and for any contact points between dissimilar metals.
