Dorman 23744 Water Pump Stud Kit

The Dorman 23744 Water Pump Stud Kit has garnered attention from Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicle owners looking to replace broken or corroded water pump studs. Many users praised the kit for its correct lengths and compatibility with various V8 engines, specifically noting its suitability for models like the 302, 5.0L, and others. Customers appreciated that the studs fit like original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, facilitating straightforward replacements without the need for junkyard hunting. However, several reviews highlighted that while the quality was generally good, a full set might be more beneficial for those performing comprehensive repairs, as each pack contains only three studs. This limitation prompted some users to suggest purchasing multiple kits to ensure complete replacement of all studs. Some specific concerns about fit arose, particularly regarding particular models, indicating that compatibility may not be universal and that users should verify specifications for their specific vehicles before purchasing. In summary, the Dorman 23744 Water Pump Stud Kit has been recognized for its quality and fit, providing a solid option for Ford parts replacements but could benefit from including a complete set for those looking to replace all studs at once. **
