IRWIN Tools Magnetic Post Level (1794482),Blue The IRWIN Tools Magnetic Post Level is a great tool for setting fence posts or mailbox posts. It comes with an elastic band, which is used to attach it to the post, and the device has four magnetic strips on the inside that attach to metal posts. It delivers accurate results and is simple to use. You can also attach it to the top of the post when you're setting it with foam. Unfortunately, it is not foldable and doesn't have strong enough magnets to work on round 2-3/8 inch steel posts. Also, the elastic band is not sufficient for larger posts such as 4x4s or t-posts, so some users recommend adding a rubber band or hair tie, which can be inconvenient. However, it is an excellent tool to use for square-cut 6-inch pipes, and it can also work on aluminum flagpoles with the rubber band.
