However, replacing a heater core in a Dodge Ram is not an easy task and requires removing the dash, steering column, and the A/C drier; it is a process that takes an entire day. It is essential to prepare and familiarize oneself with the process by watching YouTube videos. The heater core is half the cost of most aftermarket heater cores available in the market and comes with new foam. The product should be pressure-tested before installing it in the heater box, and it is recommended to use a hose clamp and an old water hose to do that.
