Question:
Can this pump extract oil from a cold engine?
Answer: Yes, it can extract both warm and cold oil. -

Answer: No, the pump operates without electric or air power. -

Answer: It has an automatic shut-off float and a manual pressure relief valve. -

Are there replacement parts for suction?
Answer: I am not able to answer this question as I only use mine to service my inboard boat engine. I would imagine they have parts available but you would have to contact Moeller Marine to find out what is available, I've had mine for 5 years and done 5 oil changes with no problems whatsoever. -

Is there a threaded dipstick?
Answer: No. -

Does the Moeller 35330 fluid extractor hose attach to the threaded dipstick typically on a Mercruiser IO?
Answer: I would think it would work? I have used it on a Honda Aquatreck and took the oil out of a GMC truck with it through the dipstick. If all else fails, you could attach the extractor hose to a smaller diameter piece of tubing to reach the bottom of the pan, just be sure you warm the engine up as it doesn't do real well with cold oil. -

I have a Bayliner with a inboard 454 Mercruiser engine, if I do an oil change is the extractor tube long enough to get to the bottom of the engine?
Answer: I own a 1991 Malibu Inboard Ski Boat powered by a Mercruiser 350. I have zero problems inserting my small tube into the dipstick and pumping out 5 quarts of oil. I've done about 7 oil changes with mine and I also do my motorcycles and various other equipment that I own. This unit has never not worked or failed to remove 99% of the oil in my machines. One quick thing to keep in mind is to always drain out as much of the waste oil and put it in a proper container. I believe Moeller has a good unit in this extractor and I believe mine will last for many many years to come.
