Editorial Review
The book in question is a textbook for a college physics course aimed at scientists and engineers. It covers a broad range of physics topics, and while the online content is generally helpful, the book's format isn't outstanding. Unfortunately, many customers have reported receiving books in poor condition, with some saying they received damaged books or that the books they received were flimsy or frail. Others were disappointed that they paid for a new book and did not receive an access code. Additionally, some customers found the explanations in the book to be verbose and lacking in content, with unclear examples that sometimes skipped crucial steps. The book is also quite thick, which may give readers the impression that the explanations are lengthy when they are not. Overall, while some customers found the book to be an excellent resource for an intro course, others felt that it was not appropriate for beginners, and many were unsatisfied with the condition of the books they received.
