  • Question: Where does this plugin on the heq5? Into the autoguider port or the synscan controller?

    Answer: This cable is used on an EQ6 and should be connected from the PC to the port for the synscan controller. The hand controller is not necessary.
  • Question: What chipset is inside this cable? FTDI or Prolific?

    Answer: This cable is built with an FTDI chipset.
  • Question: Can this be used for autoguiding a star adventurer with ascot and a USB camera?

    Answer: This cable is only used to connect the mount to the computer. Autoguiding with ASCOM and a USB camera requires a separate cable.
