    Answer: No, it needs to add a relay board. It cannot be directly connected to the circuit.

  • Question: Is this product lead-free?

    Answer: I suspect it is not lead-free, because it does not have any designation for its lead content. Keep in mind that if this is used for regulation of intake to a hot water system, the entirety of that plumbing system is full of lead. I got this as a replacement for a very-leaded part (colored silver) made by NTI.
  • Question: What is a safe heat range for this? Is there a range limit?

    Answer: I have mine on the hot water heater line. I had it up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit with no issues. I did have to replace mine because it isn’t designed to handle 120 V AC switching. Mine burned out and got stuck on. So I wired it into a low-voltage relay which would switch on the 120 V AC to my circulation pump.
