The jar is safe to be washed in the dishwasher but some customers suggest washing the jar by hand. With the lid on, the jar measures 9 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide. It is made in China, and the colors are off-white. The lid is tight but not airtight, so the treats won't vacuum-seal. The jar's price is reasonable compared to similar products on the market.
