    Answer: Not broken yet, heavy street & ramp/park riding but not grinding. The hollow pins make it light, and its very strong. You MUST change the cotter pin with something stronger.
  • Question: Both previous answers are incorrect. KMC half link chain is reconnected using ONLY KMC bullet pins. Any other solution is guaranteed to break.

It features hollow pins and comes with a cotter pin that should be replaced for added strength. Although some users have experienced chain failure, others have had no issues and have used it on motorized bikes without any problems. The chain requires KMC bullet pins for reconnection and cannot be shortened without a tool.
