It is suggested to use it every day until you reach your desired results. The short answer is yes if you want to keep your beard color. The dye is a chemical bond that isn't going to be broken by anything other than another highly reactive chemical. So normal shampoo, pomades, clays, styling gels, beard oils, or hair sprays won't react with the dye at all.
