Learning Resources Learning Resources Editorial Review
Learning Resources Botley the Coding Robot 2.0 is designed as an interactive coding tool for kids ages 5 and up, yet many users report significant challenges in functionality. The robot, which is powered by batteries and promotes unplugged learning, frequently struggles with connectivity, often disconnecting from the controller, which disrupts the educational experience. Instead of providing a reliable method for teaching coding concepts, users have expressed frustration over its performance, particularly in classroom settings where multiple robots are used simultaneously, as indicated in several reviews. This lack of clarity regarding its limitations has led to a poor overall impression, making it a difficult purchase for educators and parents alike.
