Although it doesn't align perfectly with the Thunderbolt display, the small discrepancy is hard to notice, making it an ideal choice for a universal stand. The inner dimensions of the drawer are 7" by 4 1/4" by 7/8" tall, which is enough space to store a few pens or other small items. Even with the addition of the drawer, the mBase is still small enough to fit on most desks.
