These pocket-sized notebooks are perfect for jotting down notes on the go, but don't count on using a fountain pen with them. The paper is not suitable for fountain pen ink and it's recommended to use pencil or special Rite in the Rain or Fisher Space pens. The dotted grid lines are a little dark and pencil appears to be the same color, but these notebooks work well for daily use.
